Weeding

You now have a first draft. There will be bits to add, change or what have you, but again on the WP this is easy. Some people feel that they can spot mistakes more easily on printed paper than on screen, so you might want to print out your draft. Similarly, it sometimes easier to 'see' the overall structure on pages which you can lay before you rather than scrolling your essay through the 'window' of a screen.
