Do you have green fingers?

Using the WP successfully probably requires reasonable keyboard skills. Don't let this put you off. I have got away with two-finger typing for ages, and I am now quite fast. However if you are starting out, and might want to use a WP for some time to come, think about learning to type properly. There are courses, software, or books which will help. In the meantime you have an essay to write ... .

The best way (indeed the only way) to speed up your typing is practice. You may want to get reasonably familiar with a keyboard before starting to delve into these techniques.
