This person likes to impress everyone with just how cool they really are. The seat is kept in a reclined looking position, the driver's side window is open (despite the January blizzard which is causing drifts to develop on the top of the head-rest), and the music, up tempo and delivered through a system with an extra bass booster, is at maximum volume. The right hand is only retracted into the car from its normal tapping position on the roof to adjust the sunglasses. This means that the steering wheel is left to its own whims while changing gear. The golden rule of the casual is never to look at anyone. This is painful, because the casual really wants to see all the admiring looks which they imagine they are receiving, but it is uncool to do anything other than stare straight on, gently nodding the head to the thunderous noise coming out of the speakers.
