This person has something for every occasion but no discernible style of their own. Chameleons never look out of place, whether they be at the opera, on a cross country walk, shopping or at a football match. Of course there is more to being a chameleon than having an extensive wardrobe. This person must be able to predict what will be appropriate, which requires detailed research. Most of us can be caught out in strange surroundings, but not the chameleon. The other essential skill is to be able to wear the appropriate clothing without feeling (or at least looking) ill at ease. The chameleon feels equally at home whether in evening dress or in tatty jeans and a T-shirt.
